World Mission Rosary Center for Mission

Pray for the World with the World Mission Rosary

In 1951, Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, then national director of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith (the Center for Mission’s parent organization), created the World Mission Rosary to help Catholics actively participate in their baptismal call to mission through prayer.

As you pray each decade, you are invited to reflect on the region it represents and intercede for the people living there. This powerful devotion unites Catholics in global solidarity, fulfilling Christ’s command to “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel” (Mark 16:15).
